Prof. Bright Myeong Seok Lee

Professor Bright Myeong Seok Lee (PhD, Akrofi-Christaller Institute) is the general secretary of the International Association for Mission Studies. He is co-president of the Korea IAMS Fellowship and is involved in online mission research projects, the Alliance of Mission Researchers and Institutions based in Oxford, UK. He teaches as a chaplain and assistant professor at ACTS University International Graduate School. He and his family served in Ghana for nineteen years (2002–2021), as an ecumenical coworker of the Presbyterian Church of Korea to the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in collaboration with the Palatinate Church in Germany. He served migrant workers in Korea for eight years (1994–2002), established C3TV (a Christian broadcasting system, now GoodTV) as a founding member and general manager (1997–2002), and taught at Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary and Torch Trinity Graduate University in Korea.
