Every four years IAMS gathers mission scholars from all around the world to collaborate, encourage and promote the scholarly study of mission and intercultural theology. It has become a place where scholars are inspired by each other, hone their ideas, provide feedback to their fellow colleagues and share their new findings. But, hosting a conference is not an easy task without help from our donors.
We also must recognize an imbalanced silence from emerging scholars and scholars of the majority world. IAMS acknowledges such lack of representations and has taken active steps to provide financial support for young scholars and those from the Global South who may find the conference financially burdensome. Your gift will not only help IAMS host the conference but also help these scholars become part of the greater discussion in the field of mission research.
