Membership Guide for IAMS
1Eligibility
Open to scholars and institutions in mission/intercultural theology committed to IAMS goals.
2Sponsorship
Need two member recommendations for executive review. If lacking sponsors, contact your regional representative for help.
3Review Periods
Applications are reviewed at the end of February, April, June, August, October, and December. Please submit accordingly.
4Membership Fee Payment
Once approved, membership fees must be paid by credit card.
How to Join IAMS
To become a member of IAMS, you must first register on the IAMS Membership Portal and complete the application form.
After submitting the form, your application will be reviewed.
Important Notes for Completing the Membership Application
-The form must be completed on a PC (desktop or laptop).
-You will need two IAMS members to act as sponsors.
-If you do not have sponsors, click the "Contact Regional Rep." button below to email your regional representative for support.

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Click the "Login" button at the top of the homepage.
2.Click the "Register" button.
3.Enter your email address and password, then click "Register"
You will then see the following message: "The confirmation email has been sent to the email address you provided during registration.You can log in after completing the email verification.If you haven't received the email, please check your spam folder and make sure it's not blocked." This means the confirmation email has been sent successfully.
4.Open your email and click the verification link to complete the email verification.
5.After verifying your email, the membership application form will open.The form consists of five steps, and all fields must be completed.Be sure to upload a profile photo.For professional experience, publications, or research, please enter a few key highlights within 600 characters.
6.Once completed, click the "Complete" button to submit the form.If you see the message "Your membership has been submitted", your application has been received successfully.
7.A confirmation email will be sent to you.Please wait for the review process to be completed.※ Applications are reviewed at the end of February, April, June, August, October, and December.You will be notified via email once your application has been reviewed and approved.

Membership Fees
IAMS operates on membership fees to facilitate collaboration among mission scholars worldwide. The membership fees are utilized for purposes such as paper review, conference hosting, paper publishing, and promoting scholarly research in mission and intercultural theology. The fees vary for individuals and organizations, and we request you to check the fees and payment methods before making a payment. All fees include a subscription to the journal.
